With over 12 years in the media industry as a producer, creative director, and music and fashion writer, I recognised a recurring challenge: brilliant creative minds, overflowing with ideas and talent, were often weighed down by details, deadlines, and logistics. These backstage essentials, if left unmanaged, could derail even the most inspired projects.

My career at GUAP Magazine, where I served as Creative Director and Fashion Editor, showed me just how fast-paced this industry can be, and how the right connections and clear management can propel talent forward. At GUAP, I refined my ability to shape bold visual stories, lead creative concepts, and spearhead national campaigns for iconic brands such as Nike and Adidas. I mastered the art of producing magic behind the scenes, balancing call sheets, casting, and tight timelines to deliver seamless results under pressure. Later, at Hearst, one of the world’s leading media groups, I sharpened my operational expertise, managing complex cross-platform projects with precision, handling large budgets, and ensuring creativity always had the space to shine.

Living and working internationally with Remote Year expanded both my worldview and global network. It also revealed a universal truth: even the most ambitious professionals often struggle to find time for essential logistics, from travel planning and event coordination to the personal details that keep life running smoothly. This insight confirmed what I already believed, that there needed to be a service dedicated to making things easier while preserving the creativity and vision of those at the forefront.
